I'm with MAJ Byron Oyler on this. My opinion, this is the first step in taxing alcohol into oblivion just like they did with tobacco.

Before COVID, I was very naive about the money that goes into medical research, today I am uncertain the Surgeon General will get buy-in from me on this one. Does it ETOH cause a lot of GI problems and deaths, absolutely. You can drink yourself to death long before CX can rear its ugly head. I have my worries this label being applied is more a money grab against alcohol manufacturers like was done with smoking than anything else.
