It’s not a magazine issue. It’s a morality issue. There are a great number of “well-intentioned” things across the social sciences that have happened over the past 3-4 decades that have lead to where we are in this. For the same reason that I grew up squirrel hunting by myself at 9 with a semi-auto Ruger and dear hunting with an AR by 14. My son was shooting 1” patterns at 250M by the age of 14. Generation upon generation have done the very same thing. The Smart People are looking at short cuts to address symptoms of a deadly disease because fixing the underlying societal disease will not be popular, would take much more work, hurt some feelings, and lay the blame at the feet of far too many. What has happened in our society that has lead to such a lack of purpose, loss of value for life, not wanting to recognize individuals who can’t thrive among general society, and what has lead to an exponential increase in mental illness (among general society) over the last few decades? Even more curios, what has been the motivator to facilitate such decline? At some level, is there an interest to certain elements of social decline? We have become lazy in upholding our responsibilities, distracted by our comforts and conveniences, and have an aversion to the realities of the physical, natural, and spiritual world. These solutions begin in the home, not in halls of legislators.

This is nothing more than an attempt to keep special anti-gun interest groups funded through legal actions they know have no chance at navigating through the courts. Politicians are doing it to keep that element fat, dumb, and happy, to maintain their own political office (which keeps them fat, dumb, and happy).

Go ahead Colorado. I'll bet there's a reserved seat at the Supreme Court being readied for you.

Firearms are a legal product. If Colorado wants to go that way, I hope the people of their big cities have body armor for wear.
