Any potential solution needs to take a multi-generational approach - the youth need to feel and see hope for a prosperous future for themselves and their families instead of antagonistic hate for the situation they were born into. The vast majority of Hamas inherited the anger and vitriol for decisions made in the 40's. The kinetic war may stop if Hamas puts down their weapons, but the religious, financial, and cultural planks of that region need to be assuaged also.

I have been around both cultures, and they are very different. One is generally good people, and the other is generally disgusting. I do not see this change happening.
