One of the detainees is a U.S. military veteran who suffered the indignity of having the legitimacy of his military documentation questioned. This egregious act is in plain violation of the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees ‘the right of the people be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures….’

1. Raids were a thing in NJ and other states before Trump came along. Yes, even during the Biden Admin.
2. The report is unclear by the use of the word "detained", which is very different then arrested. We don't know if they were rounded up, based on probable cause, asked for IDs, and noting the Veteran was potentially among a group of Illegal Immigrants at the time, ICE may have simply wanted to verify the legitimacy of his military ID.
But you don't know this because you are in assumption mode. Wait for the facts to come out before you use incomplete reporting to make a conclusion.

1. I’m aware of that and I’m no more a fan of Biden than I am of Trump.
2. I’m aware of that, as well. My concern is that reckless and/or careless actions on the part of law enforcement have caused irreparable harm in the past and the frequency of similar harm will increase as these raids pick up. There are individuals and groups that will be overzealous in their responses and innocent people will bear the cost of mistakes.
