It's on the Internet so it must be true, right?

COL Randall Cudworth - Google shows links to a number of sites that report this. It is in line with Trump's EOs banning anything DEI.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Every article I have come across goes back to citing the '404 media' report* which claims they have a copy of a NASA directive sent on 22 January that tells employees to scrub the websites of many things, include any mention of women in leadership roles.

404 media fails to provide a copy of this directive that an 'anonymous source' told them about, and looking at all the current and archived directives* on NASA's website doesn't show it's existence either.

I DID come across a memo* sent on 23 JAN giving initial guidance on responding to the President's EO about the removal of DEIA, but there is no mention of scrubbing any mention of women in leadership positions in it.

There are plenty of source documents that discuss the 'anti-DEI' guidance from this administration, however the narrative that the 404 media article puts forth lacks any factual basis besides an anonymous source with unsubstantiated claims.

If you have seen a copy of this supposed NASA directive, please share it.

Stan, what you got on your first shot were articles discussing the implementation of the Executive Order, including the "and one more" where you parroted back the "NASA Initial Guidance" link I just gave you.

Not a single one addresses the claim of the article you posted that "Trump Orders NASA to Purge All Mentions of Women in Leadership On Its Websites" and your apparent endorsement of that claim by saying "A misogynist in our White House."

It's pretty obvious that this administration is pushing to get rid of DEI programs and has informed the agencies that non-compliance will have consequences.

However, that isn't the narrative that the 404 media article was pushing or that you were apparently endorsing/agreeing with.

As the article you posted claims, "In a directive sent out just days after Trump's inauguration, NASA personnel were commanded to excise all mentions of anything "specifically targeting" women on the space agency's public websites".

Again, there is no supporting information for this aside from the nebulous claim that it is true because an anonymous employee said it was.

Anti-DEI? Absolutely. No argument.

Ordering NASA to purge all mentions of women in leadership on its websites? Well, you saw it on the internet so it must be true, right?
