Very sad news to hear about the loss of this hero. God bless SFC Hood, his family and his colleagues in the Golden Knights and the Navy Leap Frogs that performed with them.

RIP SFC Hood. I heard about this from my Chicago friends. How every tragic. My thoughts and prayers to his team members as well as the Navy paratroopers who were also performing.

I served with this man in the 101st and deployed with him to Afghanistan. A truly exceptional man and a phenomenal NCO. He will be truly missed. Rest in Peace Brother. Rakkasans. Ne desit virtus . Let valor not fail.

Very tragic - hopefully from the other survivor and other team members they can piece together what happened and make this sport safer. These guys used to jump a lot from Skydive DeLand down in Florida - extremely professional team.
