Marx and Alinsky would be proud of what the Biden administration did with infusing DEI into the government. They used rule 11 to perfection.
The bad thing for them is the country saw the DEI hires and they were found wanting. Sam Brunton may be a smart man, but the optics he presented and his criminal activity were not things to aspire to. Richard Levine was another. Again probably smart but his optics off put folks.
My last example is the word salad spitter, Kamala Harris. Didn't win a single primary vote but was the democrat presidential candidate in 2024.

SrA John Monette The point is she was selected by the powers that be, she was not elected as the democrat nominee or for president.

SrA John Monette - That was an interesting comment. LTC Trent Klug commented, "[Kamala] Didn't win a single primary vote but was the democrat presidential candidate in 2024." He was absolutely accurate. Kamala was VEEP solely on the basis that she was selected by Biden (or whomever was pulling his strings). Thus it is easy to interpret Klug's inference that she was a "DEI hire." And you responded, "...she was not elected as the democrat nominee or for president." True, but what is your point?

CPT Jack Durish It's also good to remember, she was selected by Biden, not for her merits, but her sex and skin color.

Let's just call it experience and pray that America learned the lesson, and we won't repeat it

"Statistics don't lie; statisticians lie." They're including the entire costs of all programs that had any element of DEI infused into it, and not just counting the direct DEI-related costs associated with those programs. If an M1 Abrams had DEI spray painted on it, the study authors would have attributed the cost of that entire tank to DEI. Misleading article.

I believe the original quote is more compelling. "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."
