Our military medical system has been through this before - after Korea, after Vietnam, after DS/DS,... we will adapt.

Problem a lot of people do not see with military medical costs is that money is always utilized. Unlike with bombs, airplanes, and infantry, the money you put into military medical does not go to waste. As a 22 yr RN that no longer wears the uniform, I am now using my excellent military training in the civilian world. The country gets the money spent on me back every day. What is the 82nd doing today? Probably PT, ruck marching, and a few ranges. Tankers, probably much the same, except their time at the range costs much more. Military medical, you always get a return on your investment.

Thank you for your hard work..it would be interesting to work with you...bet you had some good nurse fubars to share....I just retired after 40 years working critical care..I miss nursing but am not i.pressed with current Healthcare scenarios
