It’s real easy to argue with this reel.
And I’m fairly certain he’s lying about this exchange he had on the plane, because if the other person really was a college professor, they would have pointed out the blatant false equivalency and certainly would not have agreed.
His (heroic) example for his side is, if there was a flood and people were impacted, he would absolutely step up and do whatever is needed to help.
Then his comparison is, when the left sees any problem or issue, their answer is to tax (which he refers to as “comfortable with violence” somehow) and if he doesn’t agree, he can be taken away, lose his children, etc.
Yeah, it’s a representative democracy, you’re not gonna agree with every law, every tax, but even if you decide not to pay taxes because you disagreed with one, you just end up getting forced to pay, plus penalties, maybe jail time if you somehow owed millions in taxes, or owed a lot, and had the means to pay it and you were purposely hiding it.

And what's worse, the consequences that he's talking about are the same whether the policy or law is liberal or conservative, whether it's a dem or GOP majority in gov't at the time.
And his statement at the end is that "we" (GOP) want you to be free to make your own decisions, and that you be responsible for the consequences.
Which is in direct contradiction to his and his party's view on abortion.
