So... it appears the highest court in the UK has determined that the law, as written, does not include or address transgender individuals, period. And yet, went onto say:
"He added that the legislation gives transgender people "protection, not only against discrimination through the protected characteristic of gender reassignment, but also against direct discrimination, indirect discrimination and harassment in substance in their acquired gender".
Where does that leave them, then??

As long as one follows the sex-based protections, they can't be discriminated based on their proclivities. How that is actualized in daily life, I dunno.
