Deportation has been a major issue in both of the aforementioned administrations.

Both the Obama and Biden administrations, along with Bush and Clinton, all deported more illegals in each 4 yr stretch than Trump deported in his first administration, and more than his rate so far this time.
No one is arguing against deportation, and certainly not arguing against strategically targeting charged or convicted criminals, as mentioned in your FB reel.
The argument is about due process, the legally required deportation hearings, (because more than a few citizens and legal residents have been wrongfully removed so far), and the questionable legality of arbitrarily pulling legal status and rolling up legal residents showing up for scheduled ICE meetings, and cancelling student visas over parking tickets or exceeding the limit on a fishing license.

Law and order dictates we all follow the law.
When someone breaks the law and robs a gas station, we give them a trial before we sentence them, and when someone immigrates illegally, we give them a deportation hearing to confirm their status before we deport them.
If we start deciding which laws we are going to follow, we are no longer about law and order, and moving towards fascism .
