An outbreak of severe storms is likely Friday afternoon into the evening across the Ohio, Mississippi and Tennessee valleys. A Level 4 out of 5 severe storm threat is in place with all severe threats being likely, including strong tornadoes, giant hail and extreme wind gusts.

It's looking that way in Eastern Kentucky. Got my generator all setup and the camping stove ready to make coffee if the electricity does go out.

The RADAR looks like the whole State is getting a pounding. The front looks like it's draped over Kentucky from Paducah to Ashland. Lexington looks like it is next.
