He Was A 69 Year Old Veteran Of The War Of 1812 Who Fought With The Union Army During The Battle Of Gettysburg.
When The Confederate Army Showed Up In His Town He Grabbed His Flintlock Musket And Went And Joined A Union Regiment, They Told Him To Go Home But He Refused, So They Gave Him A Springfield Rifle And Let Him Fight, He Was Wounded But Survived Until 1872 .
So Old People Can Still Fight If Needed.
