And not just the DMV, we discovered another one aimed at Navy Federal, was able to confirm that last week. Lots of this going on right now.

One thing to note, all of mine, the DMV ones & unpaid tolls texts originated outside the US, mostly the Philippines (+63). Also beware of the “hey Dad/ hey Mom” text scam. Got it a few weeks back.

A local radio show personality got a call from a grand daughter. It was an AI faked voice, she thought it really was her grand daughter. I never use the link in text messages or e mails, I always use a line I know that is to the bank or institution.
