Pentagon Diverts $1 Billion from Army Barracks to Fund Border Mission

Saw this. I worked some of those programs at the receiving end... I seem to remember that diverting military construction $$s was a big no-no. Not the maintenance $$s, although that's going to leave a lot of our troops in sub-standard conditions that will get worse, but the renovation projects are like new construction: line-item approved by Congress.

Don TACO's distain for our military is very evident.
