The state park has the red river natural bridge, great trail, looks of rock climbing for those into that, plus a beautiful view if you make it to the top.

No Rock Climbing at Natural Bridge, but the area around it draws tons of rock climbers. The Pizza place just outside the State Park, Miguel's, is the Climbers unofficial hangout and the primitive campground beside it is mainly climbers.
During the summer months, the Gorge is overran with campers, sightseers, hikers and climbers, almost as bad as the Smokies, I wait until it gets cold.
BTW there are dozens of stone bridges and arches in the park, Sky Bridge being the most accessible. Most aren't easy to access.
As a side note, the local Search and Rescue Team has won national awards. They get lots of practice. There is a Local term for most of the Victims, UFO's. Unidentified Falling Ohioans. Lot of the tourism is from the Greater Cincinnati Area.

Oh, and there is a chairlift that will take you to the top of the ridge , where it is a short and easy walk to the top for the bridge.

Just drove by the replica of the original fort where the event is going on. Red River Gorge is over in the National Forest about 30+ miles from Boonesboro State Park, which is about 7 miles from the house on the south bank of the Kentucky River.
One of the blockhouses on the corners of the fort burnt down and one of my clients got the contract to reconstruct it. Tough job, but easier with power tools and a crane than a handsaw, axe and muscling it up.
If you haven't seen it when the craftsmen/women are working. It gives you at least an idea of how tough it could be to make a living then,
