On Tuesday, 62-year-old Bobby Bonilla will collect a check for $1,193,248.20 from the New York Mets, as he has and will every July 1 from 2011 through 2035.

Ohtani's contract is just crazy. He's only actually getting $2M/yr during the contract, and the other $68M/yr for ten years after the contract is over? Is that somehow going to keep California from taxing the $68M/yr?
