Coming to the party a bit late here, but I had some thoughts on this. From my very limited exposure to AI and how it might be used, it almost seems like it would be better utilized as an additional specialty in a number of other fields, rather than it's own field. Sort of the idea of being airborne isn't an MOS in its own right, but enhances other fields. I can see it being applied in just about all fields. I'm sure that somebody has thought this out, but for the folks here that are smarter than I am in AI, what am I missing? Maybe I should look at it more like admin roles that are assigned to an infantry division--not the primary field of expertise, but there to support everybody? Thoughts?
