That shows how long this war is. Even in jest there are those who know little about the attacks.

My 5 year old knows what 9/11 is about, and how important it is to remember and respect that day!

SGT Aaron P. That is because your 5 year old has parents who are insuring that the tools to be a good citizen are present. Not every child has that.

SSgt Ryan Sylvester I had a tinfoil hat, but I turned it into a jock strap because some things are more important to protect from the government control rays than my brain.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - It seriously annoys me when I see that comment on boards (I mean the original comment of the parody I posted, "Jet fuel can't melt steel beams"). Yeah, I get it, the news seemed like some movie was playing because it was so surreal, but it wasn't fiction. It happened. People saw it happen, in real time.
There was some quote I read sometime ago talking about the biggest dissuasion of conspiracy theories comes from the government itself. Because conspiracy theories rely on two things: 1) that the government is competent, and 2) that the government can keep a secret.

SSgt Ryan Sylvester - I agree. Sometimes I think it is a coping mechanism. Easier to believe that it was a conspiracy than to believe that this kind of evil is rampant in the world.
