VA to spend additional $800M on infrastructure improvements this year - VA News

The VA just announced that they’re adding another $800 million this year to improve VA health care buildings across the country. This is part of a larger effort called the Non-Recurring Maintenance (NRM) program, which focuses on fixing and updating old equipment and facilities.
With this extra funding, total spending for these upgrades in 2025 will hit $2.8 billion that’s nearly half a billion dollars more than last year.
