I grew up going to drive-ins. Heck my first date after getting my driver license was at one. One of the few remaining operating drive-ins is just a few miles from my home. It was devastated by hurricane Milton last year but just reopened.

There is still an active drive in here in. Wichita. It often has double features. If you can’t afford to get in, you can park in the lot across the streets and make up your own lines. i

The drive in near my high school was $5/ carload compared to $4-$5 per ticket for a movie theater.
