I went over as a newly commissioned 2LT, and I remember it well since my body reminds me of it every day.

I was a senior Warrant with over 20 years in. As I was there for an intel mission, my battles were oftentimes more political than anything else. My time running the same type of program in the Pentagon served me well there, as we had the same sorts of "clients," and some of the same issues. Interesting experience.

SSgt Richard Kensinger - That really depends on which mission/goal you're referring to and, I suspect, whether your opinion on the cost of those successes were worth it.

I was a Sergeant with the 7th ID(L) at Ft Ord when this occurred. We all were ready to go if called. The only call we got was for taking over the 82nd's RDF responsibilities after they deployed. The division never went anywhere the entirety of Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
