Officials in recent days have been warning people in the flood zone to be ready to evacuate. On Tuesday morning they confirmed water had started escaping the ice dam, with flooding expected into late Wednesday. They advised people in the city’s flood zone to leave.

Not an easy place to evacuate; since the only way out of Juneau is by boat or plane.

Even in frozen Alaska, Mother Nature can ruin your day. And they just had to get the"climate change" angle in there , didn't they?

Of course. If it rains, your SUV caused it. If it doesn't rain, your SUV caused it. Ditto if it's hot, or cold, or windy. Basically, everything that happens in nature that ever so slightly perturbs a leftard is caused by climate change.
