New York court throws out $500M fraud ruling against Trump after blockbuster lawsuit

Another case against Trump rendered almost moot or dismissed. Let's see where that leaves us on all the major cases levied against him:

NY Civil Case - ~$500M penalty thrown out and deemed excessive in accordance with the 8th Amendment. The liability aspect is also likely to be appealed, hopefully at it's next stop, with the NY Court of Appeals. Either way, this case has been marginalized significantly from James' stated intent to "get" the President.

Classified Docs Case - Cased essentially dismissed and the prosecution's appeal has been abandoned.

Election Interference Case - Case rendered moot and ultimately dismissed via the special council's request.

Hush Money Case - Sentence unconditionally discharged (i.e. moot) and is currently set to be appealed (and likely will be).

GA RICO Case - DA who drove this case disqualified and fined for making false claims. Case not dismissed, but will likely go nowhere as Trump's term continues, and GA will likely not pursue a case, which was championed by a now disgraced DA, beyond his term.

Jean Carroll Case - Still has an penalty awarded to Carroll in effect, but under appeal. At a minimum, Trump will very likely get the amount severely reduced on appeal and also likely get it mostly overturned all together.
