Cpl Timothy Sissons Ya, I know the Oklahoma City part, we stayed there on our 1st anniversary. Unfortunately that was on a Sunday and the county was dry then. But we did have a trunk full of California wine :-))

I started traveling between Oklahoma City and Albuquerque in late 1980 before 1-4 was completed, and it was obvious the parts of US 66 that hadn't been erased. There is also a part of US 66 going through Albuquerque, and when I left in 1993 it was still obvious what road you were on.
