She made some incredibly poor decisions and the consequences came swiftly. On one hand, the military honors are for the honorable services performed years before the actions which resulted in her death and many people who are later convicted of crimes still receive the military honors due them. On the other-hand, the actions that led to her death go directly against the oath she repeatedly made. The mixed feelings being what they are, I will just say that I think she got what she deserved and people can make of that what they will.

I don't care one way or the other as it doesnt affect me in any way.

Before 1997, convicted murderers and other felons who had been honorably discharged were afforded military honors at burial. It changed in 1997 to prevent McVeigh from receiving honors after his execution.
