A Bite-Sized History of Fast Food

I can remember my parents bringing me to Horn and Hardart when we went shopping in the 50s, later in the early 60s and I worked retail during the holidays it was a great quick lunch break place with pretty decent food. I've never been a fan of McDonald's, but it was THE meet up place for everyone once I started driving. Frankly none of the national fast food chains are any good IMO. I've always been the one to find the best locally-owned joints when I'm hungry for fast food, which isn't very often.
