Frankly that's how I learned a lot of history. There were lots of taverns dating to the 1600s around when I was growing up. Sadly many are gone now.

When I lived In Baltimore, The Horse You Came In On , Was One Of My Favorite Drinking Spots.
It Was Only About 4 Blocks Away From My Home
There Was A lot Of Bars And Restaurants In The Fells Point Area, Berthas Mussels Was A Good Restaurant For Seafood.
I Refuse To Go Into ANY City And Have Not Been In Baltimore For About 30 Years , Even Though My Wife Has Family That Live There !
It Was Only About 4 Blocks Away From My Home
