Christians accept Jesus so Muslims can accept Allah. Here's an interesting concept, why can't we all accept someone else's religion?

I completely agree with the premise, however tolerance is in short supply these days.
If people can't have tolerance of others political views, regardless of how much they disagree with them, how can you expect them to have tolerance of their religious views which (should) have a deeper personal meaning to them?
Should they be accepting? Absolutely. Do I expect the intolerant to start being tolerant? To quote the obsidian spherical prognosticator, "outlook not so good".
