Similarly, I.am working on an article for NCO Journal on handwriting training as a disciplinary tool. Teaching handwriting is far more broad in application than just communication. It affects behavior and character as well.

Well the nuns couldn’t get me to write legible even with a fountain pen. As I continued in school, taking notes in class, my handwriting continued to get worse. As I had to write frequently in muses notes my handwriting still sucked.

@thomas Tennant when my child was diagnosed with a learning disability with language (not understanding what sentences meant) before any formalized decisions were made, I taught my son to read the New Testament words in red, what Jesus said. In 6 weeks when he was due to go through formal testing he tested 4 grades above his grade and age.
