Store manager first thought he was the butt of a joke
Speaking to Augsburger Allgemeine newspaper, store manager Jürgen Kippes said he initially thought he was being pranked.
"I've never experienced anything like this before,” he told the newspaper. "I thought we were on 'Candid Camera'.”
During their short visit, the flock managed to cause a fair bit of mess.
"If they had run to the right toward the fruit and vegetables — God forbid — you wouldn't have been able to get them out," the newspaper quoted Kippes as saying.

Lt Col Charlie Brown prophetically animals sense things. They never do anything in groups unless there is a reason. I am not sure if this is satire or real but the message is the same.

It's not satire...apparently they got away from the shepard and since they are herd animals...where one goes the rest follow.
