Sgt (Join to see) gosh, I remember this disaster and the shock that ran through Charleston, South Carolina because Ron McNair was from Charleston and had family there. I was stationed at Naval Base Charleston SC Dental Clinic.

another one of those...I remember exactly where I was moments for the
Space Shuttle disaster...at my inlaws home in California.

I recall that day in 86. Was in Texas, had just finished picking up a truckload of parts and was enjoying a moment of breeze after parking the truck. Felt compelled to look up and inspect the sky in reverie, why, I don't know. Later heard the shocking and sad news.
