SSG Jessica Bautista I am a Trekkie...since I can remember...anything about space and adventure....and though I get what this guy is trying to do, but Star Trek is all fantasy....Climate Change on the other hand....When someone doesn't know about something and has not seen evidence/proof and just conjecture, it's easy to dismiss it...Obama and other world leaders are privy to may types of information that we, the people are not....and there is so much information on the WORLD WIDE WEB....that much of of may or may not be true...Now that Trump is President Elect, he is privy to see a ton of information he has never seen before, therefore probably the reason for his NEW and somewhat favorable response about Climate change to the New York Times.
I believe there is some truth to Climate change...we humans have been extremely detrimental to our precious mother Earth...however...History has proven that our world has gone through many changes on it's own....all by it's self....So, it's probably a combination of both...Countries like CHINA have CONTRIBUTED far more than their fair share of polluting the air and we should all find ways to try and eliminate polluting the air...at least tone it done quite a bit.
This article was amusing if not anything else.

You realize this is science fiction, right? The parallels are completely made up and not real. Are we now reduced to comparing "man made global warming" to warp drive on the USS Enterprise in a science fiction story? So what did the Federation do? I think they still use warp drive all of these years later don't they?

Do you realize it's science fiction? I'm not using this to prove any argument. It's just interesting.

SSG Jessica Bautista - Who are you trying to fool? "I'm not using this to prove an argument" your initial commentary that accompanies the article is instigative and inflammatory. I understand that youre not happy with the election results. Wait until he's actually sworn in and makes some decisions before you cast your grievances throughout the internet.

SFC (Join to see) - People don't change much. In this case, it's that the environment was a concern people had back then, and they still worry about it now. It's interesting.

Great show to watch, it's funny how there are comparisons between these shows and today.
