I totally agree. Thanks for sharing. Our history and heritage is something that all of us need to respect and not change the events in our history as in some of our educational institutions

Thanks for sharing an abrupt summary of the history of the west SSG Diane R..
We generally understand the west to include Europe, Africa and the Americas.
North and south end at the poles; but, east and west have no end longitudinal point.
In Western history towns, city states, nations and empires have risen and fell over the millennia.
While vulnerable to external forces the biggest threats were internal - ideas, disease, and loyalty have led to the destruction of powerful entities.
It is best to understand the lessons of the past.

I found it to be a very good article sir.

I live in a college town, and talk to students all the time, and am often shocked at their ignorance of American and world history. What's even more startling is that they believe they are well educated.

Ignorance and pride often go hand in hand.
