Great video! My first tech school, automatic flight control systems specialist, was in White Hall at Chanute. I spent May-November 1984 there and saw an entire corn-growing season.

I got there Jan 6, 1986 and froze my butt off in blues on the flight line in zero degree weather. LOL Missile Maintenance.

We had just arrived from basic and I guess I was just being introduced to the cold because my next station as Malmstrom AFB in Montana. LOL

In 1974 I went to Jet Engine Technician school at Chanute AFB. Very old barrack’s. Plastic on inside and outside of windows still every time it snowed there would be a 4-6” pile of snow under each window. That floor was COLD at 05:00. Had some good times there though.
