I took my PACAF Women's Basketball Team there in 1986 after coaching my first championship team. Our team played great as we opened the tournament blowing out ATC.

Great video! My first tech school, automatic flight control systems specialist, was in White Hall at Chanute. I spent May-November 1984 there and saw an entire corn-growing season.

In 1974 I went to Jet Engine Technician school at Chanute AFB. Very old barrack’s. Plastic on inside and outside of windows still every time it snowed there would be a 4-6” pile of snow under each window. That floor was COLD at 05:00. Had some good times there though.
