LOL. Yeah - pros' and cons to all big cities. My dad was stationed at RAF Feltwell, population 15 and 1 cat. So the milkman brought everything cuz there were no stores. Few paved roads, etc. So London was the MWR trip EVERYONE wanted to be on. We came from smalltown USA as well so we hadn't seen anything like it stateside either. It just had a legendary status that I never grew out of.
And of course, its great to be sitting at home watching Travel Channel and see them poring over stuff I lived next to. Belfast? Gotta hit Ireland one day. Still have tons of un-met family to visit.
