Interesting. Did you know that Congressional staffers could attend some of the mid-level education that officers attend? However, the actual Congresspeople are not eligible to attend said courses.

I think it would be a good idea to educate the members of Congress on military matters. ESPECIALLY those on the committees directly tied to the military. A greater understanding of how the military operates might vastly change how they operate their committees.
