Nice looking little rifle, but I'll stick with my full sized Krag rifle.

CW5 Jack Cardwell the Krag was a good rifle just not the best combat rifle it took forever to load compared to like the Mauser and Lee Enfield

Bore diameter mainly. M1903 based on a stronger Mauser type action and the 30-06 cartridge has better ballistics. SSG Robert Webster

CW5 Jack Cardwell - You forgot to mention that the same 220 grain bullet was used in both the .30-40 Krag cartridge and the .30-03 cartridge.
