random random random random random random random.
For as long as I can recall, this has been categorized as a major issue. Some of you may remember the JFK Program. Either do something about it or quit complaining. What are we? Fat Monitors?

Well most of this falls on the soldier. They eat what ever they want and think the hour of organized PT will get them through. I am in my 40s and I have to put in extra time to stay within standards. Additionally the caffeine drinks has a lot to do with the lack of sleep. I see these things in everyone's hand all the time, to include mine. However I don't have any caffeine in the afternoon because it will cause me to not sleep very well or at all. Today everyone wants to point the finger at someone else, but self discipline will fix most of this problem.

During my Dept Head tour I gave up breakfast (after the midnight to 0600 watch) to get an hour of sleep. If it wasn't for caffeine, I wouldn't have lasted until my next watch again at 1200 until 1800, and again at 2345 until 0600. Thank God I didn't have the 'fat gene'.

I don’t think that it’s so much Troops being fat so much as it’s the means of figuring it out being flawed.
