I think you meant the "Chinese" and nobody has blown up this non-issue into a potential war as much as our idiot of a POTUS. North Korea is a joke but a war with them is not; horrible casualties for our ground troops and South Koreans across the DMZ; I really doubt any launch would actually reach Guam, and the consequence would be we'd annihilate NK, but then we'd occupy NK, own NK, after sending home THOUSANDS of flag-draped caskets: do you IMBECILES who voted for Trump really think that's a good thing, in America's strategic and moral interests?

The launch might reach Guam sine only lateb1950s Tech is required. Reaching and getting past Tthe defences iss.probably beyond Kim's reach since spoofing decoys and such are much harder

I'm not very worried about what they can launch today, but give this another five years and it will be a considerable issue, looking at past examples of research speeds for these programs and considering the availability of information today the main limiting factors they have are the learning rates of their personal and working out the teething pains of their production lines.
