Who would of thought that the taliban would renege on the negotiations? This is pretty much how most of us knew this would go. Biden is going to take the hit and rightfully so because he is POTUS. No president was going to have an easy time with this.

Yeah... It sucks that he had to follow through on the agreement Trump made with the Taliban.

SFC Michael Hasbun - Yep those negotiations with the taliban under the trump admin aren't working out so well but I think we all knew this is exactly how it would play out.

1SG (Join to see) - Absolutely. At no point was the ANA ever going to be what we wanted it to be.
Our military is a product of our values, our population, our history, our budget, our executive priorities etc...
The ANA can only be what it's going to be based on it's own organic values, desires, population, objectives, etc...

I am surprised at how horrible and inept the Afghan military is. After 20 years I expected the Afghan military would not be this weak.

I did an SFAAT down in RC south. I'm not shocked.
I can't be mad at them for not accomplishing goals that were never their goals to begin with. They were ours.

Heard some good about a few ANA guys, but it's far and few between. They'll crumble plain and simple because they don't have the desire to keep up the fight. Maybe there will be a few hold outs but they'll find themselves outnumbered and without support.
