I hated school, every damned year of it. I walked out of kindergarten and had to be coaxed to return, and return I did. Elementary school. Junior high. High school. College. Law school. Never found a teacher I could relate with, not one. Was considered disruptive for asking questions.

Same here. My older brothers walked me to first day of school, almost. We made it to the top of a bridge en route when I made a break. They caught me and I finally made it to school. I found out there were other kids and toys, so it turned out OK.

I've been binge listening to the AoI videos for a few months. It's fascinating listening to the philosophers as they detail their experiences and history which seems to sum up today's disarray. it's as if a civilization's decline is cyclical.
