The digital threat China presents is real, but I would frame the numbers a bit differently than you displayed them. The sense of nationalism in China is greatly lacking due to a large amount of citizens that want better lives. People often analyze a war with China and discuss numbers of bodies but don't consider less than half the populaiton would be willing/able to fight. Cyber war, by extension, is much the same.

MGySgt (Join to see) - China is the only country and first that used Patriotic Hackers after their embassy was bombed in Bosnia. I strongly disagree that they will not fight. The cadre gov minders that are in their military will ensure they do fight with enthusiasm...and they do not hand out Art 15s. In my trips to China, I was impressed with their control of the people, and the processes they have to control and screw their people. I used to teach Internal Defense and LIC at FT Huachuca. I see China has a much better understanding of it than I did. Think of better than the old Soviet Political Officers in the units.
