Yet another commander relieved. Has it always been so prolific, or is it simply that the visibility of these incidents is increased because of the internet?

I figured I'd be cynical to the point of nothing shocking me any longer...but I wouldn't surprised to find out "misuse" is a polite term for something less savory.
They say it's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll...and I'm not sure how someone who gets to flag rank post Tail-Hook can have anything worse than an addiction to reading "Proceedings" too much...but strange things happen.
The "loss of confidence" part is telling...perhaps he did send something over an unauthorized net.
Frankly, if that's the case...I say it's unwise to have someone over forty handling ANYTHING comms related these days.

Its a lie! He disagreed with the President purchasing a mansion in the far east. He vocalized it and got canned. Do you really believe he was viewing that stuff on a computer at sea?
