Col Dona Marie Iversen keep fighting, they have programs at the VA to facilitate Veterans. I know at the Hampton Medical Center (VA) they are advocating Veterans health care issues concerning burn pits.

I use to call it the "Dessert Crud", way too many young healthy troops too sick for 'no reason'!?! Told them it would be the "Agent Orange: of the Middle East.

I expect veterans will continue to die of burn-pit related illnesses for some time SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. Since so many different things have been burned in burn pits and different service members and veterans have been exposed to varying levels of toxins, developing a comprehensive list and establishing causality will be challenging.
I hope that the more dangerous toxins have been identified and that a list of what is okay to burn has been published and distributed. Anything not on the list should not be burned without written authorization with an accountable signature.
