The Harlem Hellfighters, members of 369th NY National Guard, 144 killed in service, 1000 wounded during WWI. A number are inrmterred at American Battle Monuments Cemetery in Meuse- Argonne France, article in today's NYTimes:

Excellent history share brother Ken Kraetzer , I read an article about them in the American Legion magazine a while back.
