That is sad news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that Chief Master Sgt. Jose Barraza, the command chief of the 12th Air Force, also known as Air Forces Southern, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, has been relieved of command "due to a "loss of confidence in his ability to carry out his duties."
I realize the command can not comment on continuing investigation but I would trust the investigative process.

I hate to see articles like this in the news, when this occurs it should be handled carefully, one to provide time for a transition of new Command structure and two, allow the former to either find a new temporary position pending court-martial, separation or retirement. Especially if no actual charges have been or will be preferred. Total character assignation. Just an old Master Gunny's take on the situation. Semper Fi.

I feel another SAPR seminar over drill weekend coming on.....sad this is a Chief and that was jut a guess, but there is little else they could lose confidence over than that. Hope I am wrong.
