After Courts-Martial Dropped, Air Force Academy Cadets Fight Expulsions

The problem here was an unequal judgement and punishment for honor code infractions. If they did the same with lacrosse team there would be no discussion here. Expel all if the infractions are severe, and I’d say slamming a guys nuts in a book is severe. Sure they’re minor and major levels of violations, but the AF Academy didn’t apply the punishment equally. I’d guess they might have a real case to make, but you’d then have to discount the hazing incident, and they were guilty. But you can’t excuse that because the lacrosse team got a lesser judgement. Life’s never quite fair and this is certainly that.

Um… if they are even being looked at regarding an expulsion… is there fire to accompany that smoke?
