ACG R&D Hardware Design Engineering Team Manager

This position will require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and at least ten years hardware design experience. A strong knowledge of and experience with industry leading CAD and simulation/modeling software tools is also a requirement as is a minimum of three years of proven team leadership experience.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
A minimum of ten years hardware design experience.
A strong knowledge of and experience with industry-leading CAD and simulation/modeling software tools (for example, Solidworks, Creo, UltraGraphics/Siemens NX, ANSYS).
A proven track record and minimum of three years leadership experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A good understanding of project processes & workflows would be beneficial.
A high degree of creative ability & initiative as well as the ability to exercise independent judgment.
Good problem analysis skills coupled with the ability to arrive at a suitable solution.
The ability to work constructively in a team environment.
The ability to exercise independent judgment that has led teams to effective decisions and efficient execution.
Proven track record of self-motivation and initiative
Good working knowledge of Agilent instruments, chemistries & supplies.
Experience of operating in a worldwide, cross-functional team environment.
Ability to work within versatile & flexible team in collaboration with Agilent's broader product teams.
A working knowledge of Agilent's competitors' products, chemistries & supplies would be a benefit.
Proven experience working successfully across organizational boundaries.
Practical knowledge of general lab operations and sample workflows would be beneficial.
Strong experience with and knowledge of MS-Office suite.
